Job Description
Under the responsibility of the Production Manager – Packaging, the Production Supervisor supports all activities related to production, maintenance, and manages their employees. The supervisor will plan, organize, and supervise employees and daily operations according to established standards and procedures. As an action-oriented coach, their mission will be to inspire progress and success in their employees. They will serve their employees to deliver the established production plan and help them achieve performance goals by adopting standard daily management systems (S.G.Q.).
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and optimally prioritize the smooth running of daily operations according to established standards and procedures
- Participate in daily production meetings and communicate information to the team
- Ensure the preparation and operation of production lines
- Lead their team in executing tasks and production changes
- Monitor individual and team key performance indicators
- Evaluate employees and ensure the development of their skills
- Mobilize all employees and maintain team spirit
- Ensure the integration of new employees and coordinate task training
- Train new employees on safe work methods, GMP, and HACCP standards
- Perform all other related tasks

Knowledge and skills sought!
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering, or a DEC in Operations and Production Management (GOP) or any other relevant education
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in the agri-food industry and/or manufacturing sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written, to communicate easily with our two other plants in Florida and British Columbia and ensure smooth communication with our plant employees
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GFSI) and occupational health and safety
- Demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and a global vision
- Sense of urgency and good priority management
